Ron Wood, the guitarist of the Rolling Stones, caused a stir after assuring the British press that the legendary rock band plans to meet in early 2014 to discuss a possible series of concerts over the next year. In Wood's statements to the British newspaper 'The Sun', the guitarist stated: "As long as the wheel keeps turning, let's try to stay active before it comes to a complete stop".

Wood also confessed that the mythical band was strongly overwhelmed by the emotional reaction of their followers during the concert series celebrating the 50th anniversary of their formation. The guitarist especially noted the concert at Glastonbury: “At the festival everyone was happy and smiling, and seeing that again was wonderful ".

At the crossroads of these statements by Wood, the official spokesperson for the band, also confirmed that the possible tour is still in the works since nothing has been signed. Last July the Rolling Stones closed their anniversary tour, which only consisted of a few concerts in some cities in the United States, London and finally the famous Glastonbury festival in England. Since then the specialized press has been speculating that the band extend the 50th anniversary tour, and finally make a world tour.
