The movie business is changing

El DVD rental and sale market Much has changed since the widespread use of the Internet by the vast majority of the Spanish population.

Where politicians and artists only see an evil, wanting to end it at all costs, others only see a good of public utility that has achieved that thousands of unknown singers have increased their audience in their concerts, that unknown directors and actors have achieved the success…

What politicians, record producers, and movie companies don't want to see is that the market has changed. The public is not willing to pay € 20 for an album by any artist whose only interest is one song; the public does not want to pay € 20 for a DVD of their favorite movie so that after 3 months a new version will come out with more additions, etc.

In Spain there were 12.000 video stores in 2003 and at the end of 2008 only 3.000 were open but, of course, how many stores are left that sell Beta or cassette tapes ... the market is changing friends ...
