Talk about a band like BABY METAL It is not an easy thing, although it is always a pleasure to come across things as original as this. The band BABYMETAL is made up of three Japanese girls -because they have not yet reached the age of majority-, SU-METAL (Suzuka, who is close to 18 years old), YUIMETAL (Yui, just turned 16) and MOAMETAL (Moa, also 16 years). And although their appearance is charming, this band - as its name already indicates - makes a strange and great mixture of heavy metal and Jpop that does not go unnoticed.
It is not very common for Japanese bands to get an adequate projection in the rest of the world, although with this we are losing really brilliant bands. But in the case of BABYMETAL, it has been the seal earMUSIC the one who released the first Japanese album last May. EarMUSIC is the label of artists of the stature of Lisa Standfield, Yes, UB40 and, already within the style, bands like Dagoba or Dragonforce.
This August BABYMETAL will be on tour in Europe (26 and 27 in Germany and 29 and 30 in the United Kingdom) with his BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2015, which has already passed through countries such as Switzerland, Italy or Austria. Notice that the staging of the BABYMETAL is something to be taken seriously, SU-METAL's voice is outstanding live and the songs are catchy to the max. I leave you a sample below.
