"The Hunter": Willem Dafoe Goes to Tasmania

Here we can see the trailer for «The Hunter»(The Hunter), a film based on a book by Julia Leigh that stars Willem Dafoe, Sam neill y Frances O'Connor.

In the film, Martin (Dafoe) is a mercenary which is sent from Europe by an anonymous biotech company to the desert of Tasmania to hunt the last remaining tigers in that area.

The film is directed by daniel nettheim and it has already premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. It has just been released on DVD in Sweden and will have a limited edition in US theaters on April 6.

Willem Dafoe had confessed in November, in the Mar del Plata International Film Festival, who does not feel like a 'movie star', because the "Movie stars are people who generally adopt a personality and films become a vehicle to carry this personality forward, while the actor is someone more disarmed, who goes to a place and takes the form that place is asking of him..
