Making a personal list trying to list - in order of merit - the one hundred best singers of all time it can be somewhat cumbersome and inaccurate.
But when a magazine like Rolling Stone is in charge of elaborating it, based on the opinion of music critics and renowned performers, one would expect something much more reliable.
Man, it is impossible to do this kind of thing and satisfy the musical tastes of all readers. Even so, there are glaring omissions and positions that one does not quite understand very well.
The most interesting thing is that there are a certain number of 'dedications'between singers.
Stevie nicks in the #98... Karen carpenter in the #94... Morrissey in the #92… It is not something that I would very much agree with.
Be that as it may, these are the ten most important positions for the aforementioned magazine:
10. James Brown / 09. Stevie Wonder / 08. Otis Redding / 07. Bob Dylan / 06. Marvin Gaye / 05. John Lennon / 04. Sam Cooke / 03. Elvis Presley / 02. Ray Charles / 01. Aretha Franklin
