Possibly many of you have seen The Great Waste (Bewster's Millions), a movie starring the missing Richard pryor. This film was current about six years ago even though its release was in 1985 since Warner Bros. announced that there would be remake, but everything stayed there.

This remake returns to the spotlight because Variety has confirmed that it is already in the production phase, by Joseph and Jack Nasser and will have Robert Towsend as project director.

The film was based on a novel by Gorge Barr McCuthcheon, from 1902, a novel based on real events where Brewster, a minor league baseball player, was introduced. Although he did not know it, this player had a billionaire uncle who passes away and for his nephew to understand the importance of money value he leaves proof in his will.

You must waste no less than $ 30 million on absolutely useless things in a month, and when that month is over you must have nothing in your possession. If he succeeds, he will inherit no less than 300 million dollars, a situation that gives rise to countless truly hilarious situations as we could already see with the great Richard Pryor.
