La paintball film, directed by Daniel Benmayor, will be screened tonight, Friday, April 24, at the Tribeca festival, which will be held in New York between April 22 and May 3. It will be at this festival where this film produced by Julio Fernández for Filmax can be seen for the first time and for the first time. The director himself will be in charge of presenting the film.
The film is included in the MIDNIGHT Official Section in which 6 more productions participate. Paintball is the only Spanish work selected. Another five are American and the last one a co-production between Sweden and Russia. The director of the film will present the World Premiere in New York on April 24.
In the film, eight strangers meet in an extreme paintball game. What for everyone begins as a game will soon become a real hunt. The rules have changed and anything goes. Whoever wants to survive will have no choice but to play. A frenetic thriller similar to a maximum action video game, in which, however, reaching the last level does not guarantee anything.
The film, which has been sold to almost everyone, will be released in Spain on July 10.
