A few years ago i discovered The Decemberist, through their debut album Castaways and Cutouts and I must say that from that precise moment, it became one of my favorite indie bands.
As Artic Monkeys, The Decemberist was a great change of scenery, a fresh proposal, for its originality and its refined pop, with songs that have a lot of literature, loaded with metaphors and with a folk sound very characteristic.
This March 24 will go on sale his new work, The Hazards of Love, the band's fifth studio album, of which the song has already been heard The Rake's Song, which was posted for free on the group's website.
The Hazards of Love will be the successor of The Crane Wife (one of the group's most celebrated albums) and It is published by the Capitol label. It was produced by Tucker martine y The album features Shara Worden from My Brightest Diamond, Becky Stark from Lavender Diamond and Jim James from My Morning Jacket.
I warmly recommend the band and don't stop listening to it, because you will surely like it.
