According to Variety, lThe film will have a script by Max Borenstein, while Legendary is doomed to settle disputes that exist related to rights, that so far freeze the start of filming. Let's remember that a few years ago, Quentin Tarantino tried to bring Hendrix's story to the screen, but due to a misunderstanding with the musician's brother, the entire project was canceled.
To avoid what happened above, Legendary will try to advance as much as possible in pre-production and, once they have a fairly rough idea of what the biopic will be, sit down to negotiate with the parties, trying to sell the idea.
Hopefully this biopic is successful and that the figure of Hendrix is as well reflected in the cinema as it was on stage.
