Critics' Best of the Telluride Festival 2015

Best of the Telluride Festival

The critic has chosen the best of this year's Telluride Festival, best movies, directions and performances.

Several films that aspire to the Oscars come out reinforced after their passage through this contest as is the case of 'Spotlight', a film mentioned in the list of best film by critics attending the Telluride Festival and which also highlights several of its actors.

Another prominent tape is 'Beasts of No Nation', considered one of the best films of the contest and also noted for its direction and interpretations. Two other films have been included in the lists of best performances and best direction as they are 'Carol' and 'The room', but curiously they are not among the best films. From 'Steve Jobs' only the film itself stands out and Michael Fassbender as the protagonist.

But the tape that has once again dazzled everyone has been Hungarian László Nemes's 'Son of Saul', considered the best film and the best directed and that between this and her triumph at the last edition of the Cannes Festival, we can already consider her the great favorite for the Oscar for best film in a foreign language and aspiring to some other nomination at the Hollywood Academy Awards.
