The Beach Boys in Spain

The Beach Boys

Fifty years after Hawthorne (California) debuted their first single, laying the foundation for one of the most influential and inspired careers in pop history, the original surviving lineup of The Beach Boys (Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks) visit Spain for primera vez to offer two performances in Ávila and Barcelona.

It should be remembered that Dennis Wilson and Carl Wilson, also founding members, passed away. However, the band returns to review those perennial hits and, incidentally, present the content of their imminent new album -number 29 of his discography- “That's Why God Made The Radio”, on sale next June 5.

The first of the concerts functions as a planetary claim for the seventh edition of the festival Musicians in Nature. From their stage in Hoyos del Espino, located in the Sierra de Gredos (Ávila), they will display a show in which their new compositions will share the stage with a selection of more than 30 hits, thus starting a world tour that will perpetuate the privilege during 50 nights - one per year of existence - in as many cities in the world.

Two days later, July 23, those responsible for “Pet Sounds” will offer their second concert in Spain at Poble Espanyol in Barcelona. Tickets for the first of these appointments, a unique opportunity to enjoy a historic event in a paradisiacal environment, are available from today on the sales networks of Marcaentradas, Ticketmaster, El Corte Inglés, Ticketcyl and associated centers at an advance price of 45 euros (55 euros at the box office).
