The 14th edition of the Badajoz Iberian Film Festival will take place from May 14 to 18 at the López de Ayala Theater facilities in that Spanish city.
On this occasion, the organizers decided to pay tribute to the actor from Cáceres John Margallo, who in 2007 participated in two important films for Spanish cinema: "La soledad", winner of three Goya Awards, and "El prado de las estrellas", by Mario Camus.
Representative actor of the independent scene during the 60s and 70s, throughout his career he worked with great directors, such as Fernando Colomo, Adolfo Marsillach, Antonio Isasi Isasmendi, Juan Antonio Bardem and Víctor Erice, among many others.
