A large number of actors and workers from the world of culture have confirmed their adherence to the general strike on September 29 in an act in which the general secretaries of the most important unions CC.OO and UGT participated.
According to the writer Almudena Grandes, who directed the event: "This general strike should be a cry, a plan and a line to be followed by the labor movement and Spanish civil society, in order to defend the heritage we inherited from our ancestors and the future of our children."
Different personalities from the cinema and Spanish music like Juan José Millás, Adriana Ozores, Miguel Ríos, Pilar Bardem or Antonio Carmona among many others.
For its part, Jorge Bosso, President of the Union of Actors of Madrid, He wanted to highlight the support that from the culture has always been given to social movements like this and added: "We are going on strike, because there is an abusive labor reform that affects all workers."
And he also wanted to make it clear: "This is not a strike against a political party, because we are also against the situation in which culture is in Madrid".
