The 10 highest grossing Spanish films of 2009

Last year, thanks to the last four months of the year, Spanish cinema experienced one of its best years in terms of box office share. with hits like "Ágora", by Amenábar; "Planet 51", showing that Spanish animation is among the best in the world; "Cell 211", the great winner of the Goya; «Brain drain», with Mario Casas and Amaia Salamanca; "Spanish Movie", the first parody film of national successes and "The secret of their eyes", co-production with Argentina, which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film.

All these films have surpassed the barrier of 6 million euros and, in addition, "Ágora" managed to become the fourth highest grossing film of the year.
