This Friday two national films are released. On the one hand, the new work by Helena Taberna entitled The good news with Únax Ugalde and Bárbara Goenaga as the leading couple and, on the other hand, the first comedy by veteran Gerardo Herrero with Carmen Maura and Federico Luppi in Make it look like an accident!
What an accident looks like It's a co-production between Spain and Argentina that I don't think is going to work at the box office because people are already tired of seeing the same actors and always seeing the same kind of silly Spanish comedy.
The synopsis of the film is:
Pilar (Carmen Maura), a widow who lives happily in her comfortable routine, sees her life splashed when she thinks she has discovered an infidelity on the part of Gregorio (José Luis García-Pérez), her son-in-law. Pilar, determined to put an end to this annoying problem, hires Arturo (Federico Luppi), a man who is in charge of making them happy by "eliminating" their annoying husbands. There is no solution: Gregorio or her.
