Texas Critic Awards Honors Spielberg and His "Lincoln"

"Lincoln" has been the great winner of the Texas Critics Awards, winning four awards, including best film and best director.

Steven Spielberg takes the first prize for directing of the entire Oscar career, an award that has resisted him until now, especially for the grace in the category of Kathryn Bigelow.

The film also takes Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor for Daniel Day-Lewis and Tommy Lee Jones respectively.

The other two interpretive awards have gone to Jennifer Lawrence for "Silver Linings Playbook" in the category of best actress, which wins again for Jessica Chastain, her great rival for the Oscar, and for Anne Hathaway for "The Miserables»Best Supporting Actress, a performer who seems to be the one destined to receive the golden statuette this year.
