Terele Pávez, «Celestina» award

She is one of the great ladies on the scene. Terele Pávez, one of the actresses with the most charisma in Spain, has received an award from the City Council of La Puebla de Montalbán for her portrayal of La Celestina, in Gerardo Vera's 1996 film.

And is that if we think of a character like the Celestina, Terele Pavez comes immediately to mind. Nobody like her has known how to give life to a millennial character like that of the "Old whore" of the immortal work of Ferdinand de Rojas.

Terele was excited after receiving the award:

"I need time to assimilate the prize, but what matters is the moment I am living and not the past in which every time I have fallen my son has shook my hand."

On the role of the Celestina, one of the most complex that he has had to interpret, he is clear:

«You had to be very clear about who she was and who I was, you had to search by scratching the character and it made me think a lot. La Celestina is three things: God, fear and sincerity ».

Congratulations to Terele, who in the cinema has given us fantastic performances in films like "The Community", "800 bullets", or "The Holy Innocents."
