Tedy Villalba passes away

Yesterday, Sunday, another of the greats of cinema has left us ... The producer Teddy Villalba, winner of a Goya of Honor in 2006, has died at the 74 years of age in Madrid.

As reported in a statement by the Academy of Arts, his remains are in the funeral home. The Peace of Colmenar Viejo, specifically they are in room 11.

They were almost sixty, the years that the film industry had their collaboration. Villalba worked with great cinema figures, such as Orson Welles, King Vidor, David Lean, John Huston or Stanley Kubrick among others. In addition, he was also a producer of the first films of the Spanish film director, Pedro Almódovar (In darkness y What have I done to deserve this).

Now, although his death is a great loss, it is certain that his memory and his hard work, which made the Academia del Movies, whatever it is today, will last forever. Rest in peace Tedy.
