How we count, Iron Maiden's bassist and frontman, Steve Harris, announced the release of a solo album, the first of his career called 'British Lion' and was released on September 28. The work contains 10 new songs that were mixed by Kevin Shirley and includes collaborations by Richard Taylor and guitarist David Hawkins.
What we see is the video of the first single, «This is my god«. The band is made up of Steve Harris himself on bass, Richard Taylor on vocals, David Hawkins on guitar and keyboard, Grahame Leslie on guitar and Simon Dawson on drums.
Meanwhile, Iron Maiden has released this year his latest double DVD 'En Vivo!', on March 26 via EMI. The material was recorded on April 10, 2011 in Santiago de Chile, in front of 50 thousand people at the National Stadium, during The Final Frontier World Tour. Technically, it was shot digitally with 22 HD cameras and an octocam (aerial camera), and recorded in 5.1 stereo, all mixed by Kevin 'Caveman' Shirley.
