Stallone pleads guilty

Cobra Stallone

The Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone, pleaded guilty to having introduced growth hormones in Austraila last February, that he was traveling on the occasion of the presentation of the latest installment of the saga Rocky Balboa.

Stallone was going to spend three months in Thailand and in his luggage he carried a significant amount of hormones and testosterone, when he arrived in Sydney the actor showed all the medicines at customs, and, after the corresponding inspection, they let him pass with everything. The drugs he was carrying are legal in the United States, but not in Australia. The actor said he had made a serious mistake, as he did not know the laws:

"It was never my intention to violate the laws and I realize that I should have been adequately informed of your customs regulations"

For this type of crime in Australia the maximum penalty is about 67.532 euros and five years in prison if tried in a federal court, however, the case will be handled by a local court, which would mean a fine of at most about 13.000 euros. Next week we will know the sentence of the court.
