Sorry, yeah it was another silly American movie

The theme of Hollywood movie parodies has been in vogue since the "Scary Movies" series began in 2000. Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer have been involved in them and after launching as Date Movie writers and directors , they decided to make Epic Movie because, according to them, they came up with so many ideas in the first one that they couldn't cope.

But after seeing the film, one is left wondering if these people's ideas were really so brilliant as to continue with another film, or did they see the profitability of the business of the first one and did not miss the opportunity to try a new one.

Does the movie really arrive? to get bored at some point, luckily it only lasts 86 minutes. Nonsensical jokes, no coherence, little acting work. It is true that it is a parody film, but if one is going to pay the same to see that or a cinematographic jewel, it is only fair that they take a little care for whoever sees it.

The plot centers on four orphans who, indistinctly win a trip to a chocolate factory and who later discover a magical wardrobe that transports them to the land of Gnarnia (silent G as in Gnome). There the orphans prepare to regain control of the land dominated by the “White bitch”.

In the movie there are references to The Chronicles of Narnia, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Superman Returns, X-Men, the Da Vinci Code, Nacho Libre, Snakes on the plane, Borat, Click.

In the film there is almost nothing redeemable, more than one or another phrase that really makes you laugh, which is what one went to see. Like hearing that bloggers love to hear a certain line by Samuel L. Jackson, or that when Kal Penn sees the queen of Gnarnia and says that she is Stifler's mom (from American Pie), or the mockery of a song in the style "Beep" from the Pussycat Dolls. No more.

There are interesting appearances like that of Carmen Electra in a Mystique costume or David Carradine (Bill from Kill Bill).

My recomendation: Don't waste your time, I already did.
