Back in the late 90s, in the midst of the success and heyday of new metal, Slipknot, a band that revolutionized the scene with their masks, their large line-up and their unusual aggressiveness, popularizing the most extreme metal. The rumors of separation are confirmed with the singer's statements, Corey Taylorr, which revealed that there is an intention to record one more album before the divergence: «Definitely, I think we have one more album to do. After that, it is something that no one can know. We don't want to get to the point where we make albums as an excuse to go on tour.
