Slint could meet

slint, the Louisville band that with only two albums - "Tweez" (1989) and "Spiderland" (1991) - anticipated post-rock and defined much of the guitar rock of the 90s, threatens to return to life. the scenarios or even post new material.

That is clear from the words of david straw in an interview for AU Magazine in which he acknowledges that one way or another Slint will be reactivated throughout 2013. "We speak regularly and we have some surprises for the next year that will make the fans very happy." In the same interview, Pajo defines Slint as a "priority" project, despite the fact that he continues to work alongside Yeah Yeah Yeahs and on his own personal project, Papa M.

Let us remember that after its dissolution in 1991 Slint returned to the activity on time in two periods of the last decade (Brian McMahan, David Pajo and Britt Walford did, with another bass player replacing Ethan Buckler): in 2005 with the excuse of acting as curators of an All Tomorrow's Parties and in 2007, the year in which they visited Barcelona to perform from start to finish their great work "Spiderland" at the Primavera Sound festival.

On the occasion of that mini-tour, the band performed the only Slint song after its classical stage, "King's Approach", a ten minute theme that they used to close their concerts.
