After several years of marriage, Pete is surrounded by women: his wife Debbie and their two daughters, eight-year-old Charlotte and thirteen-year-old Sadie. As he fights to keep his label from collapsing, he must learn from Debbie to forgive, forget and enjoy the rest of their lives ... before they kill each other.
Thus, with 'If it were easy', Judd Apatow returns to address with a comedy secondary who inspects his own universe irregularly. The tape is told in a totally simple, natural and honest tone. But behind that aspect of simplicity, we find more than meets the eye: a reflection on personal and marital crises.
Botton line a good dose of simple entertainment, nothing forced, and that emphasizes the flaws and imperfections of the movie characters. A spear against the typical American marriage, which will not leave anyone indifferent.
