Shin Chan Movies

shin chan

Shin Chan is one of the most popular characters in contemporary Japanese Manga. Created by Yoshito Usui and first published in 1990, the international consecration of this character would come two years later, when an anime began to be produced that made this little imp go around the world.

The style of simple, almost naive strokes with which Usui developed his work, and having as the protagonist a child of only five years old, causes the first impression to be that it is a children's product. But the Shin Chan's carefree and disrespectful demeanor, spiced with a rather sour humor, give it a youthful, rather adult character.

Despite the tragic death of its creator in 2009, and contrary to the information that initially circulated, the production of comics has not stopped (nor is it expected to happen, at least in the immediate future). Neither did the anime production.

In the cinema, there are already 25 chapters of the character that have been released in Japan, while in Spain there are 22 the films that have been marketed so far, almost all for TV and in DVD / Blue Ray formats.

Set in the time of the Japanese Civil War, ninjas and samurai serve as a condiment for a story in which politically incorrect occurrences are not lacking of the cheeky protagonist. He arrived in Spain in 2007

Other films by Shin Chan

The filmography of the little manga is completed by the following titles:

  • The Impossible Steak (2008)
  • Shin Chan Spa Wars: The War of the Spas (2009)
  • Three Minutes to Save the World (2009)
  • To the rhythm of samba (2010)
  • Shin Chan and the Golden Sword (2011)

  • Operation Spy for Gold (2015)
  • The Space Princess (2016)
  • Robot Dad (2016)
  • The secret is in the sauce (2016)

Like many of the characters born in the Japanese comics and globalized as anime, Shin Chan's adventures seem to never go out of style. This occurs despite a bawdy humor, which has drawn the ire of more than one parent association, and some other episode of censorship.
