El Holyrood palace, main residence of the Kings and Queens of Scotland from the XV century, would witness the tribute that the parliamentarians of that state would pay to the Australian band, in recognition of their Scottish roots.
The motion, called 'AC / DC, We Salute You', has been submitted by Christine Graham, a parliamentarian from the South of Scotland, and tries to acknowledge the enormous influence that the AC/DC They have had in thousands of local musicians.
This gesture would grow -even more if possible- their popularity in that region, something that comes from pearls with a view to their next presentation in that country.
"It is very clear that Bon Scott had an enormous sense of identity and I am not saying it only because of the tattoo he had on his arm, in which you could read 'Scotland forever'.
I think they deserve official recognition for their enormous contribution to music. My parliamentary motion seeks to achieve that purpose"He said Graham.
