Say yes to piracy

The long-awaited third part of one of the trilogies most longed for by boys, adults and women, finally reached the movies, although apparently this is not the conclusion of the adventures of Jack, Will and Elizabeth, the three iconic characters of Pirates of the World. Caribbean.

This third installment, wisely called "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End", or for us "Pirates of the Caribbean: At the end of the world", is more than anything the continuation of the story that began in 2003 with "The curse del Perla Negra "and then followed by" The Dead Man's Chest "in 2006, although it is the least transitory of the three.

The film is full of good effects, of that particular humor between the grotesque and the incredible, that has characterized the previous films. Having elements of easy understanding for children and more elaborate jokes, for the older ones.

The trip this time, takes us to more places than the Caribbean, leaving us visually satisfied not "piratasdelcaribefans", especially when they are seen sailing on ice or in waters as crystal clear as the sky itself.

In terms of content, the film is still absurd, and dependent on the two previous installments. There are many details that if you were not attentive to the first two parts, you will not know how to identify in this installment, which goes until the true story behind Davy Jones, that strange pirate with an octopus face, is revealed.

On this occasion it seems to me that the character of Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) is glorified, who becomes Pirate-Captain-Queen, and she is the one who organizes the troop to go after the love of her life.
Johnny Depp, who seems never to have gotten rid of his character, is also quite acceptable.

It is interesting the appearance of actor Yun-Fat Chow, that of "Ana y el Rey" and "El Tigre y el Dragón", but it does not seem so much to me than that of Keith Richards, the guitarist of the legendary band Rolling Stones, to whom it was used more as an icon. I think he was put to best use in the story.

About this musician, the international news agency Ansa, noted that he fell asleep during the world premiere of the film in Los Angeles.

The rest of the performances, then passable. The special effects, very good. The complicated and very elaborate plot. Entertaining movie.

My recomendation: If you have not seen the previous installments, it is better that you stop by the video store before going to see "Pirates of the Caribbean: At the end of the world."
