If there is a guitarist who combines virtuosity with power and melody, that is Joe Satriani. Steve Vai's teacher, among others, has launched a new disco, which is titled 'Professor Satchafunkilus and the Mousterion of Rock', something that strikes me as a nod to Frank Zappa, perhaps everyone's teacher.
