The Oscar winner Sandra Bullock to headline 'Ocean's Eleven' remake robber gang.
The film is about a remake of the first installment of the Steven Soderbergh saga of the same title that began in 2001 and that had the also Oscar winner George Clooney as the leader of the band and that in turn, it was already a remake of Lewis Milestone's 1960 self-titled film and with Frank Sinatra as headliner.
We could say that this will be the female version of Steven Soderbergh's film, since not only Sandra Bullock will be the protagonist, but the cast will be made up mostly of women, quite the opposite of the 2001 film, in which George Clooney, Matt Damon, Andy García, Brad Pitt, Casey Affleck appeared , Scott Caan, Elliott Gould, Bernie Mac, Carl Reiner and Don Creadle, Julia Roberts being the only minimally female protagonist.
At the moment the project, which has been taking place for years, will be supervised by Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney after the death of Jerry Weintraub, producer of the previous trilogy and who was taking the project forward. The new 'Ocean's Eleven' also already has a director, it's Gary Ross, director of the first installment of 'The Hunger Games' ('The Hunger Games').
