During these days the box office of the cinemas has been marked by titles of great productions coming from the other part of the pond, but it must also be said that this season, Spanish films are having a good acceptance, if we take as an example Cell 311 among others.
And if we speak of Spanish cinema, we must highlight Ballads of sad trumpet, the director's new film Álex de la Iglesia, who assures that this new footage is truly unpleasant, very violent and with very bad temper.
It is a very bloody comedy that takes place during the Franco regime and tells us the story of Javier and Sergio, (Carlos Areces and Antonio de la Torre), two horrible disfigured clowns who face death for love of Natalia (Carolina Bang) a woman who drives men crazy.
In the cast there are tremendously well-known names from the national scene such as Santiago Segura, Sancho Gracia, Terele Pávez, Juan Luis Galiardo, Fernando Guillén Cuervo, Juana Cordero and will have the collaborations of Fran Perea and of a real clown, Fofito.
