The actor Ryan Reynolds has spoken about his future project to embody Deadpool.
“It will go in a different direction than typical superhero movies. It is a bad bug, without any emotion. It's like Barfly (character in a 1987 movie who was into drinking and fighting). It is like entering a world where the person is emotionally damaged. I always say that Deadpool is a man in a highly militarized spiral of shame. Very different from what has been done to date ”.
Reynolds also compared the film to an inmate coming to jail for the first day: “With Deadpool it's like going to jail on the first day. You have to hit the biggest and strongest guy to get some credibility. With Deadpool, you have to establish that moral flexibility from the get-go. You have to bet on him. At first you will lose a few people, but then you know that you will get them back. You can't lose the hardcore fans of the character, but we also have to target a wider audience. As an actor, you have to be willing to do something like that. "
The writers of "Zombieland", Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are writing the script for this film that Robert Rodríguez is supposed to direct, although this detail is not confirmed. The release will arrive in 2012.
