PIt seems that the tandem formed by Ridley Scott directing and Russell Crowe acting, continues to produce more films. After the good experience they had with Gladiator, both for the success of the public, critics, awards and good vibes between them (at least that is what emerges from the flowers that both throw each time they are asked), they became to get together to change the register and make the melodramatic comedy (I hate having to label a movie but anyway) A good year, which although it passed without pain or glory for my taste is an interesting movie.
Well, the usual premiere this year of American Gangster, which reunites the artistic couple for the third time, along with another heavyweight in the industry such as Denzel Washington (it must be remembered that these two actors have already worked together, when Crowe was not known and in a movie medium hair called Virtuosity), now there is news of another project that will soon enter the filming phase to give a very different vision of Robin Hood. Universal Pictures has hired Ridley Scott to direct Nottingham, which turns Robin Hood into a criminal hunted by the Sheriff of Nottingham, an honest servant of the law who will be played by Russell Crowe. Brian Grazer will be the producer of the film and production will begin in late 2008.
