As Pink Floyd will release its first studio work in two decades, its former member, Roger Waters, has had to make it clear on social networks that for 29 years he has not belonged to the band and that he has nothing to do with nor has he collaborated on this latest album, The Endless River. Waters left the group in 1985 and only participated briefly with members David Gilmour and Nick Mason in a special concert in 2011.
Apparently the siege of fans on social networks has made Roger Waters prefer to clarify this matter in a rather sour statement by the musician, published on his Facebook account that said: “Some people have been asking Laurie, my wife, about the new album that I will release in November. What? I will not release any album in November, you are probably confused. David Gilmour and Nick Mason will release a new album. It will be titled Endless River. David and Nick make up the Pink Floyd band. I, however, am not part of Pink Floyd. I left Pink Floyd in 1985, that is, 29 years ago. I have nothing to do with any of Pink Floyd's studio albums, or Momentary Lapse of Reason or The Division Bell, or Pink Floyd's tours between 1987 and 1994, and I have nothing to do with Endless River either. Then! This is not something for expert minds friends, beware ".
