Today we bring the trailer for «Robot and Frank«, Science fiction film starring Frank Langella, Susan Sarandon, James Marsden, Liv Tyler, Peter Sarsgaard, Jeremy Sisto and Jeremy Strong, which will premiere in August.
Set in the near future, Frank (Frank Langella) is a retired thief, he has two grown sons (Marsden, Tyler), who are worried that he can no longer live alone. They want to put him in a nursing home, until Frank's son chooses a different option: against the father's wishes, he buys him a humanoid robot that walks, talks and is programmed to improve his physical and mental health.
The film was directed by Jake Schreier, who is making his behind-the-scenes debut and will be released in theaters on August 24, in a limited version. A good idea on how to treat the elderly and the way in which they are often condemned to social exile by their own family.
