One of the great young directors of North America, Richard Linklater will resume his work as a director with a project entitled Liars (AE).
With his last film already finished (Me and Orson Welles), Linklater will embark on a terrain in which he feels very comfortable: the romantic comedy. Liars (AE) will narrate the story of two friends who, while traveling towards the inauguration of Barack Obama, will visit the exes of one of them, recovering lost objects.
The project is just in its infancy, and for now, the The only actress confirmed for the film is Kat Dennings, young actress who shone in charlie bartlett, by Jon Poll. The script is in charge of newcomer Emma Forrest, and production will be by Scott Rudin, for Miramax studios.
