I suppose everyone will remember Mel Gibson's film, "Ransom, Ransom," the Story of a Kidnapping of a Child with a plot twist included. A super-cutie film that made this type of story fashionable.
Returning to the plot, -the kidnapping of a child-, the Catalan filmmaker Santiago Lapeira is going to premiere "Rescat", a story of a gang of kidnappers who plan their perfect hit before "retiring", and decide to kidnap the son of a businessman nothing clean.
The gang of three kidnappers decide to hire a screenwriter to write a perfect ending for them, but nothing goes as planned, and the kidnapping ends violently.
The movie stars Joe Lewis, Gisela arnao, Manuel Medina y Alex Sague and it has been shot outdoors in Barcelona, Sitges and other places on the Costa Brava. Premiere next November 30.
