The American group REM and the MTV chain have just announced the launch of a retrospective collection of videos that will bear the name REMTV and that will contain a set of six DVD discs that compile various presentations of the group, such as the concert performed for 'MTV Unplugged', the special documentary "VH1 Storytellers" made by the VH1 network, various television concerts between 1995 and 2008 and also the presentations made by the group at the MTV Awards.

The first DVD presents two appearances by the group in the famous MTV Unplugged concerts; the second DVD includes the documentary 'VH1 Storytellers' in which the two unreleased versions of "New test leper" and "(Don't go back to) Rockville" were made in 1998. The other three DVDs offer concerts and performances by the band between 1995 and 2008: we are talking about full versions of shows never broadcast before.

On this release scheduled for November 24, the legendary manager of the group bertis downs opined: “It is a gift, a unique opportunity to relive the most emblematic moments of the group. Thanks to the MTV archives we have been able to make this compilation of videos that, in addition to paying tribute to REM from a musical point of view, will allow many young followers of the group who did not have the opportunity to see them, access them and discover this unforgettable group that made history in rock ".
