The group consisted of two friends from the city of Bath, England, of names Pete byrne (voice) Y Rob fisher (Keyboards) and by the time they formed Naked eyes, both had already traveled a certain path together, downplaying the importance of finding other members for the group: The two used to frequent the nightlife area of the city in the days when punk and new wave dominated the scene.
The way this pair met is very unique, as he once told Pete"I was walking one day across the Pultney Bridge (in Bath) in late 1979 when I saw Rob being brutally accosted by a girl who was in a very bad mood.
I came from the recent separation from my group (Studio) and because of the appearance of Fisher, something similar happened to him (the angry female turned out to be the singer of Rob's band, Whitewing). I then intervened on his behalf, although the sturdy woman could easily have beaten both of us, I rescued him and we went to a quiet place where we discussed the pros and cons of forming a band together.
Two hours later we already had a brilliant plan: we would write songs, we would get a sponsor, in a short time we would sign a contract with a label and some of our songs would become a hit. Four years later, so it happened".
