Remembering ... Dolores Delirio

Dolores Delirium

This outstanding Peruvian band begins its journey there for the year 1994When Jeffrey Vine (in the guitar), Joshua Vasquez (in the battery), Jose Inoñán (in command of with) Y Richard Brenneisen (in charge of the voice), they decide to venture into the always difficult world of music.

Identified from the beginning by those unmistakable guitar chords and with influences from established groups such as The Cure, Bauhaus, House of love o U2, they come to define their name as it should be done, democratically: Joshua proposed it given the contrast of the two words ('pains y delirium, together they sound like sadomasochism') and ended up being elected after an internal vote.

For the beginning of 1995 they had already edited three tapes, the same ones that sold thousands of copies, making the group considered one of the most promising of the independent Lima scene.
Shortly afterwards they began to go out internationally, obtaining a good reception in the places that were presented. Everything was going smoothly, but fate got in the way: In the early hours of a June 24th, 1998, Jeffrey He was returning from rehearsing with the band on his way home. The taxi that was taking him collides violently with a car that crossed his path and he dies irretrievably.
Nothing would be the same without his presence ...

Can't you see the sun?
