Well that is what is happening to them, all this controversy is due to the fact that the film tells the story based on a true event in which a 14-year-old Iraqi girl is raped and her entire family murdered by a group of American soldiers.
On the one hand, the director defends the film saying that his intention is to raise awareness in society to vote against that war and, on the other, there are some people who see this film as an unpatriotic act and criticize it harshly, as we can see in the Video that you have below, in which the one who is in charge of criticizing her is the FOX journalist Bill O'Reilly.
The film was will premiere on November 16 in Spain.
