Record of collection in Spain last weekend

Last weekend will go down in the history of cinema in Spain because it broke the collection record with a total of 18,2 million euros.

El No. 1 was again for the movie Avatar by James Cameron which is on its way to becoming the second highest grossing film in Spain in all of history, only behind Titanic, also by Cameron. Avatar takes a whopping 19,15 million euros in ten days.

The second place is for the children's film Alvin and the chimpmunks 2 that achieves 2,23 million in its premiere. A very good figure, noting that at Christmas you have to take the "little ones" to the movies so that they can entertain themselves for a while.

Between the third and fifth place we find three other premieres: the comedy It is not so easy with Meryl Streep that achieves 1,44 million euros; the zombie comedy Welcome to Zombieland which debuts with € 940.000 and the Fame remake which achieves € 730.000.

Below, we find three Spanish films that continue to be among the most viewed despite so many American releases. Thus, in sixth position we find the Spanish comedy spanish movie which already accumulates 6,8 million euros while Planet 51 and Cell 211 they accumulate 10 and 8,8 million euros, respectively.

They close the Top Ten Ninja Assasin and Two very mature kangaroos, which next week will not be among the most viewed.
