The Spanish "Rec»Won yesterday the Grand Prize of the XXVIII International Festival of Porto Cinema (Fantasporto). The film directed by Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza also won the Audience Award, being the great winner of the festival.
The chronicles of the place say that the public dedicated him to «Rec «A standing ovation of more than five minutes. In addition, in the Official Fantastic Film Section «The orphanage»Won the award for Best Production and Best Actress for Bethlehem Wheel.
And in that same section, «Fermat's Room«, By Rodrigo Sopeña and Luis Piedrahita, won the Prize for the Best Plot and the Meliès de Plata Prize for Fantasporto 2008.
