If there is a person from the world of music in our country who has been continuously present during this 2011, which ends today, jumping to the fore either for a collaboration, musical production or even the edition of his own album, that is without doubt Ramón Rodríguez.
Natural of Cabrils (Barcelona) began his journey with Madee at the beginning of the last decade making a slow rock but with moments of intensity and rawness that well deserved the attention of the specialized press. Later the group disbanded and started another project, The NewRaemon, with which he has already released three studio albums. The last of them arrived earlier this year, "Free Association" where, after some discs of greater acoustic prominence, has returned to electric guitars and some of the rawness of his previous group to close the circle. It is a dark album but it really sounds like an exorcism of worries and fears in which the listener can feel completely identified.
It is worth noting that this last album has been one of the most outstanding of this season by much of the specialized criticism. But also Ramón has been present in the production of the third feature of Mole Hands, or it is also noteworthy his album also this year with Francisco Nixon and Ricardo Vicente "The Problem of the Three Bodies". Another phenomenal album where the three components in the songs alternate to form a solid group.
In Spain it has been the year of Ramón Rodríguez, we hope that he will continue to delight us with his many projects from now on.
