Radiohead filmed a video clip… without cameras!

Radiohead

You are right. The music video for the band's next single, “house of cards”, Has been recorded without the use of cameras.
In his place the director, James frost, has created it using the technique of “capture in three dimensions".

Two systems were used to achieve this: On the one hand, the Geometric Informatics, which gave light to the capture of the images of the protagonists in 3D in close proximity; and on the other the Velodyne lidar, which was used to also give life to the surrounding atmosphere in 3D.

The video will be officially released next week, and the group's trend of challenging traditional music formats will continue.
Thom Yorke, leader of the English band, commented on the matter: “I liked the idea of making a video clip about human forms and real lives only using lasers… no cameras… that is, based solely on mathematical points. The truth, this experience was strangely interesting".
