One of the current ladies of Jazz, Diana Krall, is finalizing the details for the release of her latest studio album, Quiet Nights, which will go on sale at the end of March.
Quiet Nights marks Krall's return from 2006, when he edited From This Moment On. The artist herself He defined it as an intimate, sensual and erotic album, which will feature 10 songs, of the most varied styles: ballads, three covers of Antonio Carlos Jobim and the classic reversed Walk On By by Burt Bacharach.
After giving birth to the twins she had with the great Elvis Costello, at the end of 2006, the singer took the liberty to prepare her next album. The result of that time of creation will be seen in March, when it hits the streets quiet nights, an album that Krall has no qualms about qualifying as «the best recording experience I've had so far ». According to the singer, the songs composed were inspired by a trip to Brazil in 2007.
As is customary, his regular musicians, epercussionist Paulinho Da Costa, guitarist Anthony Wilson, John Clayton on bass and Jeff Hamilton on drums; and his producer, Tommy LiPuma, integrated the recording process of QN, in addition to having the invaluable contribution of arranger Claus Ogerman. The album will be edited by the Verve seal.
