The cast is being assembled to the next movie of Quentin Tarantino Django Unchained": now, Jamie Foxx will be part of the film, in a role that was originally for Will Smith. Also, other confirmed actors are Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds), Leonardo Di Caprio, Kerry Washington y Samuel L. Jackson.
The name is not accidental: Django It is the title of spaghetti western 1966 directed by Sergio Corbucci, while Tarantino had a brief role in 'Sukiyaki western Django' (2007), the remake of Takashi Miike.
In the film, Foxx will be a freed slave who teams up with a German bounty hunter in order to confront a plantation owner (Di Caprio) to win back his wife, whom he lost in a game of poker. Waltz will be the bounty hunter.
Production will start in November.
