Quentin Tarantino has surprised with some statements that he has made recently (you can read it below) where he assures that he I would love to shoot a western movie and knowing the filmic taste of the director could approach the violent "Wild Group" of Sam Peckinpah.
Anyway, I leave you with the statements of Quentin Tarantino on the subject:
«I would like to make a western movie. But instead of putting it in Texas, it would be in times of slavery. With this issue that everyone is afraid to face. We are going to shine that light on ourselves. "
Tarantino went on to talk about his ideas for his particular western film: “You could do a good history lesson on escaping slaves on the Underground Railroad. Or, you could make a movie that is exciting. Do it as an adventure. A spaghetti western that took place during that time. And I would call it 'A Southern'.
