A few days ago the guitarist of QueenBrian May confirmed to the British press that he had recently found unreleased material from Freddie Mercury, and that there would be a possibility that Queen would work with this material for a new album by the band. Previously Roger Taylor, Queen's drummer, confirmed that May was finishing producing several songs in which Freddie Mercury did duets with Michael Jackson, although now May has said that the material found has been much more than that.

May stated on the matter: «There is much more material than I thought in our files. I still feel a little nervous to ensure that we have a full album with this, but we certainly have several tracks. We found some voices from Freddie and some full demos too ». May added: "We found a 24-track analog recording with Freddie's voice, something that was never finished but was saved, the first thing we will do is work on it in digital format".

The British guitarist revealed that he is already working with music for the songs: «So at the moment we are working with this material to create new music, in the same way that we did with the album 'Made in Heaven' (1995), which in my opinion is the best Queen album we've ever done before ».
