In a few days the latest film by John erick dowdle, scripted by himself, along with Drew dowdle. The film is a remake of the Spanish film «REC«, By Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza, from 2007.
This time, with jennifercarpenter of protagonist, we find a reality show that seeks to show what really happens in the city, while the city supposedly sleeps. For this reason, the reporter Ángela Vidal and her cameraman Scott go one night to a fire department that must urgently report to an apartment building, where strange things happen. Upon entering the building, Vidal meets a woman in a nightgown and bathed in blood. While trying to help him, a firefighter is suddenly attacked by the lady, who bites him.
After this episode, those who are left outside the building decide to quarantine it, close it and destroy everything that is inside. Of course, the usual conflicts that occur in horror-suspense unfold, until Angela Vidal and her camera manage to get out, being the only ones who have proof of what happened inside the building.
A scary one for this January that has just begun, which has Carpenter in the cast, along with Johnnaton Schaech, Columbus Short, Steve Harris, Jay Hernández, Rade Serbedzija, Greg Germann and Dania Ramirez.
