The third film of Bad paul, «Lasa eta Zabala» will be presented at the next edition of the San Sebastian Festival.
This film by the director of «Cold winter sun" Y "Nobody's shadow«, Will be screened out of competition in this 62nd edition of the San Sebastian contest.
These first two films by the director were not very successful, but the interest aroused by this new film for the subject it deals with may make it more commercially successful.
"Lasa eta Zabala" narrates the judicial process carried out by the families of Joxean Lasa and Joxi Zabala, two ETA members who disappeared in October 1983 and whose bodies were found two years later, tortured and buried by the GAL, the Antiterrorist Liberation Group. Their identification would not arrive until a decade later, in 1985, since the quicklime in which the bodies were found made recognition enormously difficult.
They star in the film, Unax Ugalde, seen recently in "Bartzan" and "We are honest people", Francis Orella, this year also in «Stella Cadente», Oriol Villa, seen in "Snow White" and the debutantes Jon anza y Christian merchan.
Another tape about ETA Which can be seen at the San Sebastian Festival, specifically in the Zabaltegi section, is "Negotiator" by Borja Cobeaga, which is based on Jesús Eguiguren's conversations with the terrorist gang.
